Terms of Service
Last updated October 11, 2026
By creating an account or using NextPoint you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Using NextPoint
NextPoint is for people aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, you may use it only with a parent or guardian’s permission. Give accurate information, keep your password private and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. Plans and billing
NextPoint has a free plan and paid plans (Standard, Plus and Pro) that you can buy monthly, every 3 months or yearly. Prices are shown before you pay and may include taxes. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you first.
3. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for and you are not charged again. We do not give prorated refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it or where we charged you in error. If you think a charge is wrong, email nextpoint.act@gmail.com and we will look into it.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- copy, scrape, republish, resell or share NextPoint’s questions, explanations, lessons or other content, except for your own personal study;
- share a paid account or sell access to it;
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to use the service or collect its content;
- try to get around plan limits, gates, timers or security, or interfere with the service or other users;
- use the AI tutor to produce harmful or unrelated content.
We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. AI tutor and study-plan advice
The AI tutor and AI study-plan advice are generated by a language model and can make mistakes. Check important points against the lesson, the explanation or your teacher. The Plus plan includes 30 tutor messages per day. The Pro plan is described as unlimited, subject to a fair-use daily limit that we may adjust to prevent abuse and protect the service for everyone. We do not guarantee that the AI features will always be available.
6. Practice scores and results
Scores on NextPoint are estimates shown as ranges to help you practice. They are not official ACT scores, they are not predictions and we do not promise any score or improvement. English results are shown as accuracy only. NextPoint is independent and not affiliated with ACT, Inc. “ACT” is a registered trademark of ACT, Inc.
7. Content and your data
NextPoint and its questions, explanations, lessons, designs and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own study while your account is open. Your practice data stays yours, and you let us use it to run the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
NextPoint relies on other services, such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for sign-in and data, OpenAI for AI features and Desmos for the graphing calculator. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability.
9. Disclaimers
NextPoint is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep questions and answer keys correct, but we do not promise that the site will be error-free or always available, or that it will meet your goals.
10. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, NextPoint is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using NextPoint at any time and can ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service.
12. Changes
We may update these terms or the service. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the site. Using NextPoint after a change means you accept it.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms: nextpoint.act@gmail.com or the contact page.
